Bio-diesel made from food in oil-rich UAEClose
The Middle East is an area where car is king and fuel is low-cost, often leaving little reward to find more environmentally-friendly methods of moving around.
But this year, as protests across the Middle East have actually pressed up the cost of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, one organization is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil.
